Dress for the class is Aloha casual civilian wear. Slacks, shirts, jeans, blouses, sweatshirts are appropriate. Uniforms, coats and ties, etc. are not necessary. 

The course fee is payable by purchase order (SF 182), cash, check, VISA MasterCard, and AMEX including corporate and government IMPAC/GPC and travel cards.  The fee does not have to be pre-paid.  Payments will be accepted at the class or invoiced afterward. Complimentary services will include breaks.


Lodging is available at the Hale Koa Hotel, at their current rates. To make a reservation, please call the hotel (800) 367-6027 or use their webpage . The Hale Koa reservation links states that if the Hale Koa does not have rooms available, they can refer you to hotels in the area with similar room pricing.

Participants should arrange their air travel to Honolulu International Airport (HNL) to arrive on or before April 15th 2018.

How far is Hale Koa Hotel from the Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and how do I get to the hotel from there? Is there a shuttle?

Hale Koa Hotel is located approximately 10 miles from Honolulu International Airport. The hotel does not offer shuttle service. Taxi service (approximately $35-$45), or an airport shuttle (approximately $10 per person) is available. Depending on time of day, the trip takes approximately 20-35 minutes. Most national car rental agencies can arrange for the pick up of a rental car at the airport.

PARKING for Guests is available at the Hotel, Current rate is $10.00 per day. Local students not staying at the hotel can validate parking while attending the course.



The Hale Koa's two towers, Maile and Ilima, house a total of 817 spacious guest rooms. Our rates for these rooms are based on rank and room category desired. Most rooms are furnished with either: one king, two queen or two double beds. While they make every effort to accommodate special requests, these requests cannot be guaranteed and should be requested when making your reservations. You may reserve one additional room for immediate family members.
